Christmas Gifts Everyone Will Love!

Merry Christmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year, but also the most busy time of the year. There is a lot to do in December and buying Christmas presents is one of them. In this post, hopefully I can make Christmas shopping a little quicker and easier for you with a few ideas of Christmas presents you can buy online or at the shops and suit even the fussiest family members and friends.


  1. A diary or calendar
Many people use a paper diary and paper calendar to keep track during the year (myself included) and soon we will be needing a new one! A nice looking diary or quirky calendar is something you know that they will use and enjoy all through the coming year.

  1. A onesie
No matter if you have one already or not, everyone can use a new onesie. They come in all styles and suit all personalities. From fluffy bunnies to rainbow unicorns, you can find some pretty cool onesies online and they are guaranteed to get a lot of use.

  1. A hamper
Can't decide on what to buy? Why not put together a present yourself? Making or purchasing smaller gifts and bundling them together like a hamper can be lots of fun to create. You can put together the perfect present like this and the recipient will definitely appreciate the effort you have put into giving them the perfect gift.

  1. Personalise...
Let's go DIY! Receiving a personalised gift is always special especially when it is handmade. It is quite easy to draw and bake initials or nicknames onto mugs or sew a name onto a pencil case.

  1. A book
Buying books as gifts can be tricky, but you have come to the right place! Here on my blog I have many reviews of novels from all genres. Have a read and find something that would make a great gift. Classic novels are great gifts and poetry books are very unique. Do they like fantasy or mystery or horror? It is usually safe to buy a book that YOU loved as a gift and hope that they will enjoy it as much as you did.

I stocked up on books from the library to read over the holidays and one of the books I picked up was  A Monster Calls  by Patrick Ness. I am a hungry bookworm who is constantly hunting for new, delicious books to devour. Up until quite recently, I've had trouble finding the right books and good opinions on them. Since I discovered "Goodreads", an app and a website ,( https://www.goodreads.com) most of those problems have been solved.  "Goodreads" is an online site with thousands of reviews, ratings and recommendations on books. Any books can be searched and marked as "read", "to read" or "currently reading". If a book is marked as "currently reading" there is a option of entering the page number that you're on and the percentage of progress through the book will be shown. The Beginning of my trip in EUROPE!

I apologise for my absence from uploading blog posts for the past few months, but it is partially due to a family holiday spent in Europe. Spread throughout this post and several other future posts, I’m going to share with you my amazing experience and recommendations from all over the continent in the cities of London, Dublin, Paris and Rome. Firstly, in London, there were so many famous landmarks and buildings to see, we didn’t run out of things to do until the end of the week. Highlights included Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the British Museum. I found Westminster Abbey absolutely incredible. We bought audio guides and got tickets to see inside the Abbey, it was definitely worth it. The building is very old and the architecture is amazing. On the walls and even under the floor are the burial places for the most famous people of British and European history.
