Words in Deep Blue- Cath Crowley

I was inspired to read this book partially because of the beautiful front cover and partially because I was in need of a cute story about two people falling in love in a bookstore. I loved this book a lot simply because of all of the topics it covered and all of the emotions that the characters felt. This was a beautiful read and made me want to read more books! Rachel moved away from her best friend and familiar city to a small town by the sea, but that’s where everything fell apart. She used to love swimming, she used to love science and maths and she used to love Henry. Then her brother Cal, drowned in the shallows of the beach and Rachel’s family was torn apart, along with her heart. She failed Year 12 and decided to return to the city where she grew up. She meets her best friend Henry again and gets a job working with him in his family’s bookstore. She refuses to tell anyone about her brother or Year 12 and hates the people she used to love.
